Thymos II

I have no idea how long we've been in this magical land of Somnam's hat, because my smartphone's calendar isn't working. My guess based on my sense of time that it has been at least 3-5 days of us standing around or fighting random creatures that had already been deal with before. It's interesting to note that we are here to find someone that can get us out of this hat and someone that is able to save the universe, but instead we just stand around watching Somnam bicker with his insane sister. The KHAOS trio is munching on the universe and we are doing nothing to prevent it. I don't have that big of a sense of heroism in me, but at least the basic level of you know, not having the universe being eaten. To Somnam that has no meaning at all.

Somnam: It was nice to catch up with you, but we have to find gracious, who will help us save the universe. for --

Now first he mentions it.

Pandora: Yeah...
Somnam: --the sake of your lives. The city won't be able to hold us here forever if we have Gracious on our side. I also don't think Thymos is going to like this family get-together.

This was the moment where I completely lost it. All the bent up rage, anger & passive aggression began to come to the surface in one moment.

Me: YOU KNOW WHAT SOMNAM? YOU ARE AN INCONSISTANT SELFISH RIDDLE-SPEWING JERK THAT JUST WALZES INTO OUR LIVES, EXPLAINING THINGS IN YOUR ANNOYING "MYSTIC" WAY SO THAT THE IMPORTANT THINGS THAT NEED TO BE EXPLAINED DON'T EXIT YOUR MOUTH UNITL IT'S TOO LATE. LIKE YOU KNEW I WAS POSESSED BY LOVECRAFT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, BUT YOU DID DIDDLY-SQUAT. YOU NEVER EXPLAIN ANYTHING IN PROPER TERMS UNTIL IT IS BLOWING RIGHT IN OUR FREAKING FACES. YOU ACT LIKE YOU ARE FUCKING SAM SPADE ALL THE TIME, BUT YOU JUST ARE HERE TO RUIN THE LIVES OF OTHERS SO THAT YOU MAY SEEM HARDCORE, GRITTY AND MYSTERIOUS IN COMPARISON. IT'S YOUR FAULT THAT WE ARE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHAT ABOUT YOUR DEAL WITH THE MASTER? HUH? HOW CAN I OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER TRUST A LUNATIC THAT TURNS ON EVERYONE. THEN TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY YOU SPEND LIKE A BAJILLION HOURS TALKING TO YOUR SISTER, WHO IS THE MOST ANNOYING INSANE WOMAN I'VE EVER MET IN MY ENTIRE LIFE INSTEAD OF SOLVING ANYTHING. THEN YOU KEEP ADDING RIDDLES TO THE BLOODWOUND THAT IS OUR LIVES. WHO IS THYMOS? WHAT IS THIS PLACE? WHY ARE WE IN YOUR HAT? SOMNAM HONESTLY, MY HATRED FOR YOU STARTED OUT AS PETTY JEALOUSY, BUT YOU DON'T EVEN DESERVED TO BE LIKE BY ME OR ANYONE. YOU ARE A BAD PERSON. YOU SUCK!

It felt good to get this all out, but I kind of regretted it a moment later when they all three started staring at me. With Pandora I'm just guessing, but it looked like they all three were staring and judging me. A blink of an eye later they had vanished, like Somnam had done so many times before. Even Pandora is gone.

I don't know what to do now. I'm a bit scared...
